Meet Steve Bronson

Biographical Information

Steven M. Bronson was named Public Justice Foundation’s “2012 Trial Lawyer of the Year”. He was also named “2011 Lawyer of the Year” and “2009 Lawyer of the Year Honoree” for the State of Missouri, by Missouri Lawyers Media. He has been recognized as a “Young Attorneys Finalist” in 2012 and “Top Attorneys” semi-finalist in 2013 by The Daily Transcript in San Diego. In 2014 he was selected to Super Lawyers for Missouri. He is in private practice, representing injured consumers and victims. Mr. Bronson represents children exposed to toxic substances, including lead and other toxins. In 2011, the trial of sixteen cases for injuries due to toxic exposure to these chemicals resulted in a verdict of $358.5 Million for the Plaintiffs. At the time it was the largest collectible jury verdict in Missouri state history.

In addition to his private practice, Mr. Bronson volunteers his time to the public interest. In the past few years, he worked on amici briefs to the United States Supreme Court, supporting the positions of the editors of the New England Journal of Medicine in Wyeth v. Levine; the American Medical Association, American Cancer Society, and eight other national public health groups in Altria v. Good; and forty renowned marine biologists, lead by Jean-Michel Cousteau, in Exxon v. Baker. He has also received awards for completing pro bono work in San Diego.

Mark T. Baller has exclusively represented injured consumers and victims throughout his 15 year long legal career. Prior to graduating from Stanford Law School in 2008, Mr. Baller worked as a paralegal at a personal injury law firm and was inspired to attend law school to obtain justice on behalf of people injured by the fault of others. Mr. Baller’s clients have included workers and children exposed to hazardous substances, wrongful death plaintiffs, rideshare and other motor vehicle accident victims, and persons injured by defective products. In 2016, Mr. Baller’s prior law firm obtained a $12 Million verdict for the Plaintiffs in the case of Hukill v. Caltrans following a 9-week jury trial. In another multi-week jury trial in 2023, Mr. Baller and two other attorneys obtained a $40 Million verdict for the Plaintiff in the case of Cooper v. Technogym. The attorneys believe that is one of the largest ever jury award for general damages in California.

In addition to his Of Counsel association at The Bronson Firm Mr. Baller maintains a private practice and volunteers his time to the public interest. Mr. Baller has volunteered hundreds of hours of time to pro bono clients and the Community Legal Services East Palo Alto organization. He has also worked on an amicus brief to the United States Supreme Court, supporting the positions of the editors of the New England Journal of Medicine in Wyeth v. Levine.

Lauren E. Bronson, Esq.

Attorney

Lauren exclusively represents individuals and families who suffer injury or death caused by the negligent or reckless conduct of others. Lauren graduated magna cum laude from the University of Colorado and obtained her Juris Doctor degree from Sturm College of Law at the University of Denver. She began her legal career leading the Mass Torts division of Denver’s premier personal injury firm before moving to St. Louis. Recently, she has decided to expand her practice into California, passing the California Bar Exam in 2021. She has actively participated in large multi-million and billion dollar trials, and handles serious personal and catastrophic injury cases in all phases of litigation and pre-litigation.

She handles cases arising from automobile, school bus, and truck accidents; medical negligence; product liability, including medical devices and pharmaceuticals; premises liability; railroad and aviation incidents; and all types of catastrophic damage cases. Lauren is licensed to practice law in Missouri, Colorado, and California.
